Parents
Who knew being a parent/carer would be the hardest job in the world? What or who is the perfect parent?
Along the way we’ll get things right and wrong but the true outcome will never be known because who has the answer to that question?

We can only hope that we instil enough values and impart enough words of wisdom to see our children develop into those we can be proud of.

Entrusted as parents with this difficult task, as with all jobs, we need support at times and here at Chances we’re dedicated to offering just that. “We are not here to tell you what to do” or “How best to bring up your children” but be there to help you make the right choices and empower you to feel confident in the decisions you make.

Every headteacher given the opportunity would like to have a service like Chances in their school but there may be other things that take a higher priority at the time and so the needs of one don’t reflect those of the many. This can lead to frustration for parents/carers leaving them in the uncomfortable position of “Where can I go to get support for my family?”

This is where Chances is unique in the sense that we can offer support out of school through our private work. This is ideally suited to when the relationship between children and parents/carers breaks down i.e. continual arguing, slamming of doors, the battle of wills and the “I hate you!” types of behaviours. If this sounds like your home, want a resolution and are in a position where you can afford to pay, then we can put in an initial 6 session programme, just email us at enquires or phone to ask for more details.

You may not want anyone to know your accessing support so buying in yourself becomes an attractive proposition. The nature of the work remains confidential unless disclosures are made which are in breach of this policy.

Alternatively you can ask school to buy in one of our Pupil Premium Packages for your family, just pass on our details.
